Fishing on Charters&Boats

In trying to make your experience with us on Crescendo, I would like to supply general information and make some suggestions on preparing for your fishing trip:: FISHING LICENSE is supplied for all on board the vessel. It is not necessary for you to have a license. DEPARTURE is from the boat ramps in either Boca Raton or Pompano Beach. The Captain and the mate are always willing to teach as much or as little as the anglers’ desire.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING FOR THE TRIP::

Sunglasses. Polarized lenses are the best for your vision on the water.
Sunscreen and Lip Balm. The sun is quite strong all year long in Southern Florida.
Boating Shoes or White sole sneakers. Please, NO BLACK SOLED SNEAKERS
Food, drink and snacks. We have a cooler on board to keep your items cold.
Hat for shade and to keep the glare down
Camera
Rain Gear – Best to be prepared. We do have a few rain jackets on board.
Change of clothes, if you desire, for when we get back to the dock
If you have concern about Seasickness, we recommend that you take a seasick pill the night before the trip, just before retiring, and then ½ dose early the morning of the charter, or just apply a seasick patch the night before. Please get a good night sleep.
Most importantly, bring along a great attitude, a big smile on your face and be ready to have a great day on the water.

BAD WEATHER POLICY:: Safety and Comfort are our main concern. Based on the weather conditions, primarily the wind, If it is deemed unsafe, your deposit will be applied toward another date, or if you choose, we can refund your deposit. If the weather conditions permit us to fish and you choose not to make the trip, then you would forfeit your deposit. CANCELLATION POLICY:: Full refunds are given if trip is cancelled over 48 hours in advance of the scheduled trip. Within the last 48 hours, your deposit will be applied toward another charter. If you fail to show up for your charter, you forfeit your deposit. It is always best to contact me by phone, as I am usually on the boat, either fishing or preparing for a trip.
